Liang Hong

梁鸿

Liang Hong is an award-winning writer, essayist and professor. She is known for her trailblazing focus on rural people’s stories and has won a number of prestigious prizes.

In collaboration with The Leeds Centre for New Chinese Writing at the University of Leeds, We’re excited to announce the program for the inaugural SinoLEEDS Sinophone Writing Festival, an annual festival celebrating the best writing of the Chinese-speaking world.

This year’s theme is “from “书” (Word) to Book”, where we explore the journey a Chinese language book takes on its way into the hands of an English Language reader.
